Monthly Science Current Event

A student can receive extra credit once a month with a current event. The current event must be related to a science topic and can be found in either a newspaper, magazine, or an accredited internet journal website. The current event must be written within the month it is due. For example, the current event extra credit article for the first school month must be written between the days of September 1st to September 30th. Each current event can be worth up to 15 points. To receive credit, the current event must be turned in by the last day of the month. A form is available in class, or you can print one by clicking on the Current Event Worksheet hyperlink below.
